Steven Lewis Foster
Background Actor, Stand-in & Costumed Performer
Steve Foster was born and raised in Chicago’s western suburbs. His childhood was marked by a love of the performing and visual arts – at least when he wasn’t occupied with his love of sports!
Working for his family’s toy business, Steve regularly put his speaking skills to use serving as spokesperson with various media outlets. Two short-term mission trips to Uganda led to his
handling of media relations for African King Oyo’s visit to Denver, Co. in 2002 to raise awareness of the plight of orphans and the disabled in Uganda.
Steve’s first foray into acting came with an appearance in the independent comedy Chasing Robert (2007), directed by Chicago writer/performer Len Austrevich. Since then, he appeared
in several major motion pictures including, but not limited to, The Break-Up (2005), Fred Claus (2006), The Dark Night (2007), The Express (2008) and The Dilemma (2010).
In 2007, Steve received the opportunity of his lifetime when he was cast in a speaking role as polygraph examiner Richard C. Williams in a reenactment for the Riley Fox murder trial. The scenes were used to exonerate Riley’s father in the case and were later shown on ABC’s 20/20.
In 2011, Steve was featured in the pilot episode of the Open Circle Café.
Steve has appeared on several primetime television programs, including BOSS, Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, Crisis and Mind Games, and was in two major market commercial campaigns in
2013 for ExxonMobil and Gillette.
I just received your post and hope you are still accepting participants. I’ve paid so many dues in the music and arts industry and deserve for my LinkedIn, as well as overall resume to be at the top of the heap! Retired from my “day job”, I’m pursuing singing and acting full-time, BECAUSE I AM A STAR!#star #vocalist #actress #dedicated #stellar
